Sneak Peek and Music Monday

If you follow me on Twitter (@ladyofmind721), you might know I am participating in #WIPjoy, #authorconfession, and #CharactersTell to name a few of my daily posting hashtags.

But it is Monday, and my favorite tag is #MusicMonday!

So, for checking out my blog post, you get a sneak peek at my music-related Twitter tagged post for January 18th. In case you are interested, but missed some of them, at month’s end, I will post my dailies here, so you can get to know my chars. And as always, I discuss things I am a fan of, so I do not own anything and do my best to accurately credit.

For Jan 18, #WIPjoy and @SimmeringMind ask for 3 songs that inspire you… If you have been following along here, you get the idea that maybe 3 songs a day inspire me, so this was a tough one!

I chose to go with the songs that I can not get out of my head at the moment or the ones that mean something to the section of my work in progress. Mucky Middle is no ones favorite place, and I am seriously considering a full re-rewrite, just to fix all the holes already… anyway, on to the music!

First up, a group that found me on Twitter, and now I wish they could play concerts in Jersey so I could go see them. If you become a fan too, help them get airplay!

Next up is a hauntingly beautiful song, by Billie Eilish (@billieeilish) Ocean Eyes.

And rounding out our 3 songs for today… because sometimes you need a down and dirty song… Jake Owen (@jakeowen) If He Ain’t Gonna Love You.

BONUS: an extra video!

Mr. Sly has taken over posting for #CharactersTell, and their day 18 question for him is: Preferred genre of music? His answer is long, but boils down to two choices…. Anything Beatles, or what is now widely considered his theme song in my head… Truly Sly’s groove, if ever his too smart stick in the mud ways paused long enough to break loose and have a great time. Probably would dance just like the movie clips in this video too…

Bad Boy Good Man by Tape Five.
