So, if you follow me on Twitter, you know my #CharactersTell answers involve a band having a weird interview this month, so far. To go with that, I figured you might want to see what kind of band they are, and where their influences came from. A little secret, my dear reader, is this; as of this date, I never considered naming the band. Hints and comparisons, even attention on members of the group hide the fact that they never shout out a name. #Spoilers I know… but that’s the kind of thing you find here, not on Twitter, about the Red Letter series.
I will not post the same song for the band I so closely associate with this band, as I already mentioned it in my first Music Monday post. However, this real band always has something to answer my aching writing needs. So, as always, I am simply a super fan, leaving the rights to the real owners of the music I fancy. Videos may not be all that safe for work…
Woods has been caught humming this tune, one morning… There was bacon involved, it’s a mouthwatering read 😉
100 in a 55- Pop Evil
And I may be working backward here, but this next one, the band uses to help defuse one situation, which then turns into a bit of an Aussie chant thing. Any guesses why?
T.N.T- AC/DC
Ok, so this one? I believe was the last one in their first set, during a tryout period, that went over quite well. Helped seal the deal, the music scout decided there was something worth investing in…
Girls, Girls, Girls- Motley Crue
This one… Oh, this one is quite perfect! Our lead singer acted as a showman singer for the first time in front of the crowds, growing in confidence. Meanwhile, our guitarist Woods, he worked on recovering from a little bit of heavy flirtation. The kind that you both walked away and did something completely distracting, or else you might be in trouble for indecent exposure in public… Gotta love a good spoiler, right?
Touch Too Much- AC/DC
Our final song for this Monday is a pivotal song in the story. You see, if you caught #WIPchat last night when we talked about antagonists, Brandon had the floor. He said some nasty things about my MC, pretending not to remember her all that well. Except, he might have been playing more macho than anyone would have liked. At one point, he did remember her quite well, the first woman that didn’t instantly fall for his charms. This song plays on pin-up day, where the women look especially good, and our lead singer sets his sights on someone with the intention of getting her. Trouble is, she might not be available to be gotten at this point…
Could be his way of flirting though. This was the song he decided to use to woo the woman…
Sticky Sweet- Motley Crue
Until next week my Music Monday fans! I may have a special
treat for you all…
