If you missed my (late night) post, today’s thoughts come with something more than Red Letters chatter. And the best part? this theme still works for both series. That’s right, another series is moving along, and Fractured Ever After is now LIVE ON WATTPAD! I’m publishing!
Even though that’s the biggest news of the week, with another chapter coming for Sinful Saturday, today’s thoughts are about all my works.
Just because Woods was my first chess player in a room full of checkers, doesn’t mean I don’t write a type… And the new book character is definitely learning to play chess once the story kick off.
So, let’s talk about this today.

Checkers is that kind of easy instincts and instant lust. That see something, want something level of game. Nothing wrong with it, I just prefer a harder game, with strategic intentions that maybe border on obsession, depending on how you see it.
For me, writing the deeper love story is the only way to go. As if my chess level character skills makes it harder to be light and quick like a game of checkers with instant assumed anything. Maybe I fall in love with the characters alongside you readers and the mains themselves? So I have to write the moves that lead to the checkmate and that means knowing why they work together, not just that they do.
What about you readers? Are you into quick and easy checkers stories? Or chemistry that’s strategically chess?
