This is Red Letters, but in multiple ways. We have the question of what happened to our main couple that made their story complicated. We also have a slightly obtuse main female lead who would absolutely unintentionally suit down suitors she didn’t realize where trying to court her. So, I left this ambiguous until the book itself explains this one day.
