A new year comes with renewed energy that maybe needs courage. For #MusicMonday I mixed #MotivationalMusic between myself and the way I use #Inspiration for the #RedLetters characters. A #WritingPlaylist that hopefully inspires you too. as always, more details in the blog. “In my family, we used to believe that how you spent the beginning of the new year was how you would spend the whole year.” #RedLetters character Tweety, giving a hint at a #MeantItAtMidnight ideal in today's #FictionFriday. It's a bit longer this time, because I gave the full story a chance to include our characters, and the challenges of our #slownburn couple, even if it's more of a smoldering heat kinda night. Happy New Year! Today is the perfect day to share my commitment to my #writing this year. The link in my bio has a more in depth plan, but for #ThoughtfulThursday I wanted to share my #NewYearNerve, the highlights of my commitment to you all. #RedLetters as a #music themed women's fiction, and a #DarkRomance #series in the works too. #MusicMonday for a #NewYear week. Because I am a #writer I talk about the story behind this #playlist in the blog in my bio. But it's a pretty simple song selection to tell a story and ring in the new year with if you don't follow me there yet. My #WeekendRead, especially with the snow storm. One of the few books I received for the holidays. I'll Be Home For Christmas by Jenny Bayliss. Merry Christmas Eve to all those celebrating. Since I am with family, today's #MoodBoard for #WIPWorldWednesday is #ChristmasEve themed in that these are the gifts the #RedLetters characters are getting to open between today and tomorrow. There were some Friday Fictions this month that teased some of this more, but as always, all the info is in the blog posts with the link in my bio. #writer This week is memories and how they shaped us. #TenderTuesday isn't just where I ask about characters. Sometimes I ask you questions I ponder myself. And as these holidays can be about family or lack thereof, it's the most bittersweet time of my year. I've had more good years than bad ones, but the absence sometimes makes the heart too fond of the past.
