May we will talk about memories, and to ease into it, why not talk about what makes a character memorable. Is it something shocking they do? A rare tenderness? A wit or charm that sticks with you after the pages end? Why them? Why does that book sit with you more than others? That’s the impression I mean.

For me? I can recall books that have specific scenes that i can still visualize now, that made me laugh with the absurdity of the love inside that relationship. Which is why I try to write things that sit with you after the pages close, for one reason or another.
